ALLYN — An Allyn driver faces a driving under the influence charge after an early Sunday morning crash on State Route 3 in which he was ejected from his vehicle, injured and airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Washington State Patrol reports that Miguel Juan Pablo, 32, was driving a 2006 Ford F250 pickup truck southbound at about 4:43 a.m. on SR 3 at Krabbenhoff Road when the vehicle crossed the northbound lane and struck a tree and power pole. The vehicle failed to negotiate a righthand turn, according to the state patrol.

The vehicle rolled, coming to rest on all four ties in the northbound lane of SR3, blocking traffic for 83 minutes, a state trooper reported.

Mason PUD 3 responded to repair the power pole and traffic was reduced to alternating lanes until about 10 a.m. Sunday, a trooper reported.
