SHELTON – Northwest author and naturalist David George Gordon is stopping by Shelton’s Timberland Library to talk about Sasquatch.

Gordon’s talk starts at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Shelton Timberland Library, 710 W. Alder St.

Gordon, author of “The Sasquatch Seeker’s Field Manual,” along with other nature books, will explore collective folklore, testimonies and evidence of Bigfoot in the Northwest. The hourlong program is designed to help people become better informed citizen scientists, organizers said.

Gordon has spoken at the American Museum of Natural History, The Philadelphia Academy of Sciences, Yale University, the Smithsonian Institute and Ripley’s Believe it or Not! museums.

Gordon invites attendees to share their Bigfoot stories.
