Tumwater firefighters douse the rooftop of Brewery City Pizza.

TUMWATER — Firefighters with Tumwater Fire Department doused a fire that broke out Friday morning at Brewery City Pizza restaurant on Capitol Boulevard Southeast.

The fire broke out around 11 a.m. just north of Trosper Road Southwest.

The cause of the fire was a downed power line, and power was shut off in the area, including nearby busy intersections with traffic lights, officials said.

Capitol Boulevard was closed between Trosper Road and M Street, City of Tumwater officials said.

Additional road closures were expected in the area for the investigation, and drivers were advised to use alternate routes.

This is very sad. We have been eating here since they opened. Hopefully no one was hurt and they are able to rebuild quickly.
