By engaging the entire community, Habitat offers programs for people in need of affordable home-ownership opportunities and programs for current homeowners seeking to preserve their homes.

Habitat housing is a good initiative to provide people with the opportunity to own a housing unit. After being provided (or built) with one, they can return the favour to those who helped. They would need to contribute back to the community by helping others to build their own homes and the cycle goes on and on.
