Nisqually

LACEY – Late night and early morning travelers using northbound Interstate 5 in Nisqually will want to plan ahead to help prevent possible delays this coming weekend.

Beginning the evening of Friday, Sept. 20, Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will reduce a portion of northbound I-5 approaching the Nisqually River Bridge to a single-lane. The lane closures allow crews to remove and replace worn concrete.

What this means for travelers

€      10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20 to 4 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 - Northbound I-5 will reduce to a single-lane.

€      10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 to 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 22 - Northbound I-5 will reduce to a single-lane.

Travelers are reminded to please continue to watch speeds in work zones and give crews the room they need.
