Shelton, WA- Police Seek Help Identifying Suspected Thief

A male was caught on surveillance camera stealing a boat motor valued at $2700.00, and now police are requesting the public’s help in identifying the suspected thief.

On 9/25/2019 at 3:09 PM, Shelton Police were dispatched to the 1500 BLK of Boundary Street, for a theft in progress.  The homeowner was monitoring their home surveillance system and was witnessing a man on their property stealing a boat motor.  The suspect was gone by the time the police arrived, but the victim was able to provide police with images of the suspect.

The suspect is a white male, with a neatly trimmed beard, wearing a fitted black hat, black t-shirt, and black pants.  The images appear to show the male having either a spiral type tribal tattoo or birth-mark on his forearm.

Anyone with information pertaining to the identity of this suspect is urged to call the Shelton Police Department at 360-426-4441, Case # 19-S10815.

Shouldn’t be too hard to find him; just look for a white guy with a ball cap on backward.
