SHELTON — Newly elected Mason County Commissioner Kevin Shutty was sworn in Wednesday night by Superior Court Judge Amber Finlay during a ceremony at The Colonial House in Shelton.

After he was sworn in, Shutty, R-Union, thanked the more than 50 guests who attended his taking the oath of office.

He thanked his wife and mother for their support.

State Rep. Drew MacEwen, R-Union, presented Shutty with a framed map of Mason County.

Shutty said he was ready for the job ahead.
