YELM — Thurston County Sheriff’s Office seeks a teenager who is believed to have run away from her Yelm-area foster home.

The sheriff’s office reports that Alexia K. Buchaanan, 15, has been missing since Monday.

The girl has a history of running away from home, sheriff’s deputies said.

She was last living in the 13300 block of Solberg Road Southeast in the Yelm area.

She has no local ties and was not attending school, deputies said. She had been telling others where she was living and that she planned to run away, but never did until Monday, deputies said.

Buchaanan has no known medical issues and is not suicidal, according to deputies. She possesses a wifi cell phone, but her phone number is unknown.
