Long Lake

LACEY — The City of Lacey’s Long Lake Park 2019 “summer season” begins Saturday and runs through Labor Day. The park is open daily from 7 a.m. to dark, with lifeguards on duty Wednesdays – Sundays from 11:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.


Park visitors can enjoy lake access from the swimming beach, two sand volleyball courts, nature trails, barbeque grills, picnic tables, and benches. Visitors can also use the small-craft launch area, added in 2018, for canoes, kayaks, rowboats, paddleboards, and other similar small craft; however, motorized boats are not allowed.


In addition, Northwest Paddle Surfers will, once again, be on site renting stand-up paddleboards and kayaks (weather permitting) from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.: June 22 – September 2, daily, and September 3 – 30, Friday – Sunday. New this year, the City of Lacey’s Parks & Recreation Department will host a Family Entertainment Series at Long Lake Park. The events will take place on Thursday's at 1 p.m. from June 27 – August 1. To view the entertainment schedule, visit ci.lacey.wa.us/Events.


Long Lake Park, a pupular swimming destination in Thurston County, includes 285 feet of beach frontage.
