SHELTON - Several outbuildings along with tree farming equipment burned in western Mason County Sunday afternoon.

Fire officials say the blaze was reported at 5:15 p.m. off Eells Hill Rd. and California Road. Fire Information Officer Norma Brock says the fire burned on a plot of land that had a hunting-style cabin, storage buildings and tree farming equipment.

Crews from West and Central Mason Fire Districts along with DNR contained the blaze with a water attack from the air and on the ground. A dozer line was also established around the fire perimeter.

The cause of the blaze is unknown and remains under investigation.

No one was hurt.

So very sorry to hear of this terrible fire. In my lifetime I have lost everything to fire also...I hope the family has been taken care of and locals will come together to see what they can do to help their neighbors.
