OLYMPIA - Two subjects were arrested Friday afternoon for allegedly shooting a jogger with a paintball gun.
According to the Thurston County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the 7400 block of Cooper Point Road for a report of subjects shooting at a nearby jogger.
A sergeant reportedly saw the suspects on Evergreen Parkway, and observed one subject hanging out the window with a paintball gun, according to the sheriff's office. Both subjects were taken into custody and booked into jail for assault charges.
The Thurston County Sheriff's Office stated during the apprehension of the two subjects, a large amount of believed to be stolen property was discovered.
"It was found to have been stolen from several stores locally. In addition, store video showed the same subjects stealing from other stores from Olympia to Bellevue," the Thurston County Sheriff's Office stated.
Authorities said the investigation is still ongoingto identify additional victims that may have been involved in the case. The suspects were not identified.
