SHELTON (VIDEO) — Shelton High School Soccer players were recently recognized for strong seasons on the pitch.

Highclimber Manny Nicasio earned South Sound Conference co-MVP along with Nate Jones from Gig Harbor.

Nicasio will be playing for Tacoma Community College next season.

Shelton Head Coach Jason Smith was named conference Coach of the Year.

Highclimber Alex Lopez was named 1st team all-league.

Shelton’s Alex Vidal and Cezar Vazquez were both named all-conference second team.

Mason Kramer and Lino Flores were both named all-league honorable mention.

Shelton finished the season with a 9-5-2 overall record, and 4th place in the conference standings. The Highclimbers fell to Evergreen in their opening district playoff game.
